Volunteers
This event is 100% powered by volunteers — thanks to our amazing GSS community for your time, donations, and support!
Community in Action
All 2025 Fair proceeds support GSS P&C projects — including a new oval playground, flexible classroom furniture, and vital learning resources.
Get Involved + Support
The Fair wouldn't exist without the generous donations of our community. All money raised from the 2025 Fair will go towards renovating the oval playground and flexible furniture in our classrooms. Every contribution helps make the Fair spectacular! Here are 6 ways to get involved. You can help in so many ways:
1
Volunteer!!!
Each GSS student class has been assigned responsibility for a specific stall or area. Find out which stall your child's class is supporting and how you can contribute to their success. There are also links for current and previous students to volunteer!
Sign up links will be sent out through your class reps
2
Initiatives + Donation Schedule
We rely on your generous donations in the lead-up to the Fair! Check the schedule link below to see what we’re collecting and when. These donations are used across our stalls to maximise our fundraising potential. Print it out and stick it on the fridge as an easy reminder!
Welcome to your one-stop destination for all things bake and can! Join our thriving community of home preservers and bakers where we share everything you need for ‘Freestyle’ Making and Baking.
No time to volunteer? A donation (of any size) goes a long way! Every dollar helps us cover essential Fair costs and hit our fundraising goals. Give via the QkR! app or the link below.
Guitar Gym + Sono School of Music – 4 piano lessons
Honour Optometry – OTIS polarised sunglasses
Fireworks
The night sky will come alive with our dazzling fireworks display at 6.30pm, straight after the Disco.
Where should I sit to get the best view?
For the best view, we recommend sitting as far back on the Acacia Avenue side of the oval, right in front of the rides. The fireworks will be sent up into the air from the pool behind Q block. From this prime location, you'll enjoy the full spectacular as colours burst over the buildings.
Don't miss this magical finale to your perfect Fair day!
